Walmsley paper machine, Fourdrinier type, 3120mm deckle. Original year of
manufacture 1952 with many rebuilds over the years. Basement design. Machine
drive is on the R/H from the flowbox, speed 340 to 600 m/min. Products:
grammage range 45 to 140gsm, coated base papers, label base papers (coated one
side), single coated papers and others. Current ranges coated base: 50 to 120
gsm and forms: grades 45 to 80 gsm. Production
50,000 t/year, deckle 3120 mm and speed 340 to 600 m/min, production 5 to 8
t/hr, at 80 gsm 6.5 t/hr. Wet

Wyess step diffuser flowbox with Metso auto profiling slice control capable of
0.2 cross direction gsm, slice 3400mm, year 1983. The machine wire is 26m in
length and 3500mm wide. The wire frame is cast iron run out type. Shake motion.
The wire drainage by single and double compartment Unifoil and dual compartment
Enervac low vacuum foils, 4 high vacuum boxes. The breast to couch roll centres
are 15 m. Press
sections The
press frame is M/S and C.I construction. First
press is a Combi press including suction pick up. The
first and second combined press are loaded onto a central granite roll. Load 80
pli each. The
third press is a through press with a crown top roll. Load 80 pli. Sheet
