49 drying cylinders with a diameter of 1524 mm with two drive sections, three
felt dryer sections, total of six dryer felts, breaker stack between 1st
and 2nd section dryers, steam pressure 30 psi, dryers have bolted
ends so increase in operating pressure possible subject to testing, steam
pressure for re circulation 125 psi, four steam sections for dryers, Johnson
rotary siphons and steam heads, Measurex moisture control water shower mounted
under dryer 7, three pocket ventilation blowers with three hood exhaust fans.
Drying rate of 3.2 on a 32 lb sheet at 2600 fpm. This
machine has an inter calender Calender Two
calenders each with a six roll calender stack, water temperature control on
intermediate rolls, both calendears have hydraulic control king rolls, max load
300 pli. Measurex
caliper control on Caltrol system mounted on C roll 2nd calender

drive The
machine drive is sectional by motor and gearboxes, each section with individual drives and

and load cell tension control. Three disc brakes on the unwind, 13 slitters,
shaft unwind and rewind, reel lowering table. 1986
rebuild with Valmet vertical slitter section

gear unit and Reliance digital controls.
